When to Seek Additional Support

These resources are designed to offer gentle support, reflection, and grounding. At times, however, additional support may be helpful or necessary. This page is here to offer guidance without judgment and to remind you that seeking support is a strength.

Listening to signs that you may need more support

You might notice moments when what you are feeling feels heavier, more persistent, or harder to manage on your own. This can include feeling overwhelmed for long periods of time, experiencing intense emotional distress, or feeling unsure about your safety or wellbeing.

Noticing these signs is not a failure. It is an act of awareness and care.

These resources have limits

The free resources offered here are peer based and non clinical. They are not meant to replace therapy, medical care, or crisis support. While reflection tools can be helpful, they are not always enough on their own, and that is okay.

Reaching out for support

Seeking additional support can look different for everyone. You might consider reaching out to:

  • A trusted friend or family member

  • A therapist, counselor, or healthcare provider

  • A recovery coach or peer support professional

  • A local support group or community resource

You deserve support that meets the depth of what you are experiencing.

In moments of immediate concern

If you are feeling unsafe or at risk of harm, it is important to seek immediate help. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you are outside the United States, local emergency services or crisis lines can provide support.

Reaching out in these moments is an act of care for yourself.

A Few Helpful Tips

  • Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness

  • You do not have to wait until things feel unbearable

  • Support can come from many places and in many forms

  • You deserve care that feels responsive and respectful

A Gentle Reminder

You are not meant to navigate everything alone, and support is available when you need it.

This resource is peer based and non clinical. It is meant to support reflection and personal wellbeing.
