Supportive Guidance to Help You Find and Access the Right Resources

Resource and Referral Coordination at The Blooming Path offers calm, peer-led support to help you identify needs, navigate systems, and connect with services that support stability and recovery. These one-on-one sessions provide a supportive space to sort through options and take next steps without feeling overwhelmed.

Finding help can feel confusing and frustrating. This service meets you where you are and supports access with empathy, clarity, and lived experience.

Understanding the Resource & Referral Coordination Approach

Resource and Referral Coordination is grounded in lived experience and focused on practical guidance rather than instruction or treatment. Sessions emphasize collaboration, respect, and real-world navigation, not diagnosis or clinical intervention.

Support is peer-led, strengths-based, and participant-directed. The goal is to help you understand your options and move forward with confidence and support.

What This Service Is

Resource and Referral Coordination offers a supportive space to identify needs and explore available community resources. Sessions focus on connecting you to services that align with your situation and goals, rather than simply providing lists or links.

Support may center on housing, healthcare, employment, food access, documentation, or other community-based services. The focus is on warm referrals, follow-through, and practical next steps that feel manageable.

What This Service Is Not

For clarity and safety, it is important to understand what Resource and Referral Coordination does not provide.

These sessions are not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, legal advice, case management, or crisis services. They do not include diagnosis, clinical intervention, or emergency support. Resource and Referral Coordination is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or legal care.

What a Session May Include

Identifying current needs such as housing, healthcare, or employment

Exploring available community programs and resources

Supporting follow-up tasks and documentation

Checking in on progress and addressing barriers

Sharing lived experience when helpful, without instruction or treatment

Helping organize information so resources feel manageable rather than overwhelming

Sessions are participant-led and emphasize autonomy, self-direction, and respect for individual pace. There is no required homework.
