Noticing how you feel right now

You might begin by pausing and noticing what emotions are present in this moment.


You might notice:


  • Calm or contentment

  • Stress or tension

  • Sadness or heaviness

  • Hope or gratitude

  • Mixed emotions

  • Something entirely different


There is no right or wrong emotion to feel.

Where you feel it in your body

Emotions often show up in the body as sensations.


You might notice:


  • Tightness or ease

  • Warmth or coolness

  • Restlessness or stillness

  • Areas that feel heavy or light


You do not need to interpret these sensations.

Offering yourself a response

After noticing how you feel, you might choose one gentle response.


This could be:


  • Taking a few slow breaths

  • Offering yourself reassurance

  • Giving yourself permission to rest

  • Writing down a word or phrase

  • Doing nothing at all


Responding gently can support awareness.
